Let's Go Nano!

Trent Whiting, VP Sales • Dec 12, 2022

Just like many of you, we at Aqua-Yield® experienced many changes in 2022 that helped us grow and be better.

First of all, we executed a Series A financing that allowed us to invest in our production capabilities so we can keep up with the growing demand for nanoliquid™ technology. We hired our Chief Innovation Officer, Mark Slavens, and hired two new sales leaders: a VP of Sales for the U.S. & Canada, Trent Whiting, an International VP of Sales, Marco Guirado, and we added several other sales team members across the U.S. and added to our research and development.

In 2023 we plan to add more to the sales force and bring nanoliquid™ technology to farmers worldwide.

While we are excited about the positive changes we experienced in 2022, we realize that 2022 also didn’t disappoint with its several challenges to our industry both nationally and globally that impacted us all for better or worse. A global pandemic in 2020, a fertilizer price increase that hadn’t been seen in several years in 2021 and then a war in the Ukraine and looming global recession in 2022 have left us wondering what 2023 will bring?

Despite the many challenges that lie ahead of us for 2023, we at Aqua-Yield® see 2023 as a great opportunity for all of us to come together as growers, retailers and suppliers to affect agriculture for the better.

Agriculture has always been and always will be the heartbeat of America. The new generation of growers are already making their impact on our market space through advanced technology.  2023 will challenge us yet again to be more efficient with our chemistry and fertility inputs to ensure that we stretch budget dollars to maximize the yield and quality of the crops we produce.   Fertilizer prices will not go down next year, in fact growers will likely see suppliers raise prices yet again to offset margin losses in 2022. With an inevitable recession heading our way, this will force us all to come together to help growers stretch their budget dollars to achieve the necessary yields.

We believe that nanoliquid™ technology paired with your current chemistry and nutritional offerings can achieve better delivery and uptake to the plant, which will in turn yield more crop and improve the quality of the crop.

NanoPro® is specifically designed to improve herbicide, fungicide and insecticide performance so you can get a more thorough kill and stretch it across more acres.  NanoN+™ on the other hand was engineered to deliver nutritional products more efficiently to get better foliar and root uptake into the plant with a 3 to 1 ROI.

We’re looking forward to partnering with you in 2023 to face these challenges head on so we can keep the heartbeat of America alive and well as we continue to evolve together!

Some of their success has been attributed to two sustainable product lines which continue to prove their worth in providing early and faster growth, more healthy plants and cost-effective returns on investment: Calcine® and nanotechnology-based products from Aqua-Yield®.

Aqua-Yield® was excited to partner with Beck's again this year and trial some of our nanoliquid® products through their PFR (Practical Farm Research) program. Our 2-year multi-location trials show how our technology helps growers take their inputs to the next level. We strive to become PFR Proven next year!

NanoPro is the Aqua-Yield® flagship carrier adjuvant for crop protection applications. Add NanoPro to any Plant Growth Regulator (PGR) product to increase plant uptake and amplify the end result for crops. PGR products mimic natural plant hormones that either promote or slow plant growth. The chemical structure of PGR products is highly synergistic with Aqua-Yield nanotechnology.
