Soil pH and Nutrient Availability

Jenny Phillips, Director of Marketing • Oct 10, 2023

Nanoliquids maintain nutrient availability in variable soil conditions. The relationship between soil pH and nutrient availability is crucial in agriculture, as it directly impacts a plant's ability to absorb essential nutrients. Soil pH affects the solubility of nutrients and how tightly they are bound in the soil solution. Most nutrients are readily available to plants when the soil pH is in the slightly acidic to neutral range (pH 6-7). However, extreme pH levels, either too acidic (low pH) or too alkaline (high pH), can lead to reduced nutrient availability.

Aqua-Yield products optimize nutrient uptake despite less than ideal soil conditions. Aqua-Yield nanoliquid products help ensure that plants can access and utilize nutrients efficiently, promoting healthier and more productive crops.

Aqua-Yield® was excited to partner with Beck's again this year and trial some of our nanoliquid® products through their PFR (Practical Farm Research) program. Our 2-year multi-location trials show how our technology helps growers take their inputs to the next level. We strive to become PFR Proven next year!

NanoPro is the Aqua-Yield® flagship carrier adjuvant for crop protection applications. Add NanoPro to any Plant Growth Regulator (PGR) product to increase plant uptake and amplify the end result for crops. PGR products mimic natural plant hormones that either promote or slow plant growth. The chemical structure of PGR products is highly synergistic with Aqua-Yield nanotechnology.
