Working smarter, not harder, through the use of nanoliquid™ technology

By incorporating Aqua-Yield® nanoliquid™ technology into your program, you can maximize crop input efficiencies and sustainably grow your profits. Traditional fertilizers are unconcentrated and unpackaged. At planting they leech or tightly bind to the soil, remaining unavailable to the plant. Liquid nutrition moves through the soil solution until absorbed through root hairs or lost to the environment. When foliar applied they easily run off plant surfaces. The typical process for entering the plant is called diffusion.

 

The Aqua-Yield® Difference 

Aqua-Yield® nanoliquid™ products are concentrated and loaded with fertilizer solution and charged nutrient molecules. At planting the nanoparticles stay in solution or loosely cling to soil colloids, remaining available to deliver nutrients to the plant. When foliar applied the nanoparticles adhere to the plant surfaces such as cuticular cracks and hairs allowing penetration. 

 

The process that a nanoparticle enters the cell is called endocytosis. Through endocytosis, one nanoparticle can deliver a thousand nutrient ions, whereas in the typical process of diffusion each nutrient ion must individually pass through the cell membrane. The cell membrane receives the nanoliquid™ by engulfing it, creating a cavity filled with extracellular fluid and then forming a vesicle. The vesicle then breaks off and is transported within the cell. 

Through the process of endocytosis, one nanoparticle can deliver a thousand nutrient ions, whereas in the process of diffusion each nutrient ion must individually pass through the cell membrane. It is for this reason that the concentrated nature of the Aqua-Yield® nanoliquid™  allows for much lower application rates (ounces) than a conventional liquid fertilizer (gallons).
